Small consolation, I am sure, but look at all the changes that are being made, both to the road and legislation. It's something good. I don't know what else to say.
Ali - While I can appreciate the sentiment in lobbying for road improvement and lowering the legal BAC, I think the main troubles are not with the system per se, but the culture. What happened in this instance was illegal under the old law, and it happened anyway. Making it EVEN LESS LEGAL probably wouldn't have helped.
Cathy - It's amazing to me how the raw spots never really go away. The thing is, I don't want them to, I guess. Anyway, I hope this isn't always a depressing place.
I'm a 30-something desk jockey. I'm lucky enough to be married to my best friend. She's an attractive, intelligent, hilarious woman and I often wonder why she hangs out with me. We have two little girls who keep us entertained with their antics and frustrate us with their similarities to their parents. I live in Wyoming. No, really. Wyoming.

Sending you, Hiccup, and the girls a hug...

Particularly poignant for me today, this remembering. 15 years ago today I lost my Dad. Nice to have a place to come to and cry. Thank you.
