Simple Pleasures
One of my favorite happenings in the week leading up to the Super Bowl is when I see an advertisement or sign that reads "Super Bowel." It seems to happen every year, but so far I haven't spotted it.

I suppose it's possible that this is one of those regional stupidities. I was disappointed this morning. The local supermarkets had their advertising inserts in the newspaper and there wasn't a bowel in sight.

We had a hand-lettered "Super Boul Headquarters" at the inner-city market this morning on the way to work.
No bowels, though.
